KYIV, UKRAINE - JANUARY 29, 2020 - Carnations lay at the graves at the Lukianivske cemetery on the Kruty Heroes Remembrance Day, Kyiv, capital of Ukraine. The Battle of Kruty took place on January 29, 1918, between the towns of Nizhyn and Bakhmach in Chernihiv Region some 130 kilometres north-east of Kyiv during the onslaught of Bolshevik forces led by Colonel Mikhail Muravyov.
